Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is often referred to as 'traditional' massage. It is the most common form of western massage. Swedish massage includes long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking motions. It reduces stress and muscle tension promoting a state of deep relaxation and well being.

Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular Massage
Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular Massage uses deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle. Its purpose is to release the fibers of the muscles that have bound together, thereby releasing toxins and deeply held patterns of tension. Aids in both acute and chronic pain syndromes by utilizing the pressure of trigger points, to bring about balance to the musculoskelatal system.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage uses smooth, heated basalt stones that are placed on specific areas of the body and used to perform the massage. Hot stone massage melts away knots and tension, relieving pain and promoting restoration of harmony and balance. A deep soothing, relaxing form of massage.

Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy Massage is a relaxing and rejuvenating massage specifically performed for the expecting mother. Specialized training is required by the therapist providing this type of massage.

Healing hand positions are administered to the fully clothed client. Experience this gentle, yet powerful, technique.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu, Literally translated as finger pressure, Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork that is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. A Shiatsu treatment involves the application of pressure using the thumb, fingers, palm or elbow along with gentle stretching techniques to restore to harmonious flow of energy (Ki) through the body. Shiatsu may be used to alleviate the symptoms of a variety of conditions. It also increases vitality, stamina, and energy. Shiatsu is administered with the person fully clothed on comfortable floor mats without the use of oils and lotions.
